As He Is Apparel is a community of people transformed by the New Creation message. Our desire is to make quality clothing that boldly proclaims the amazing finished work - what Jesus has done for us and who we are to Him.

This truth is for all creation and we want to declare it in every way - our lives, our words and our art.

Each garment declares an aspect of God’s nature and His salvation, a revelation that has personally changed our lives - and we want the world to know as well.

Jesus is our Salvation and gave us His very self and made us one. Eternal life is knowing Him.

About the Founder

As He Is Apparel founder, Chris Blackeby, grew up in traditional Christianity. After burning out in ministry (twice), he knew something must be missing. That something was the Goodness of God and finished work of the cross.

“I discovered that God not only loves us, but He likes us. That righteousness is a gift - a gift of the person of Jesus Christ. That we are truly God’s children. There is no 'future you' that God will love more than current you. Eternal life starts when you believed, not when you die. We are not waiting to go to Heaven, but Heaven is coming here. And all of creation is waiting for the Sons of God!”
